BAM FM is recruiting a Helpdesk Operator on a part-time, one year fixed term contract basis to support school projects in the South West but based at Henbury School, Bristol.
This role is Maternity Cover for 52 weeks. It will be 30 hours per week, with a two weekly rotating shift pattern of 7.30am – 1.30pm/12 noon – 6pm
About the role
Reporting to the Facilities Co-ordinator, your main responsibilities will be to operate the FM Helpdesk switchboard where you will be required to take calls and log the tasks requested onto a database system.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Issue work sheets to school site teams and monitor each task through to completion.
- Provide administration support to the project and local FM Management team.
- Produce and provide management information relating to these services, including producing client reports
- Provide information and take bookings from internal and external customers for sports and room facilities.
- Be the first point of contact via the telephone and e-mail to the school customers.
Who are we looking for?
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- A good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Must be IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Prior knowledge of Concept Evolution would be advantageous but not essential
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
